Musician to Bring 'Ethnofunkology' to Nazareth
Latzgo will perform tonight from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Nazareth Center for the Arts.

Award-winning composer, singer, pianist and guitarist Roger Latzgo will bring his unique style of music to the tonight.
Latzgo will take to the stage at 8 p.m. and is sure to bring his “ethnofunkology,” a combination of European folk music and Amercian jazz.
"Ethnofunkology,” according to Latzgo, is "ethnic music played in a jazzy way."

The Lehigh Valley-based musician has been entertaining audiences for more than 30 years and has performed in some impressive venues, such as palaces and embassies -- even wine cellars.
And when Latzgo isn't traveling the world, he can be found performing at local venues. He's brought his "ethnofunkology" to festivals, concerts and special events. On Aug. 9, Latzgo will be perform at Lyrikplatz during Musikfest.

But tonight, at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, Latzgo will perform a program titled "Solstice!," which is a celebration of song that honors the longest of days -- the summer solstice, or the official start of summer (the summer solstice was June 21 for those who missed it!).
Latzgo's performance will also feature pieces from his three solo CDs, which are titled "Swing Bohemienne," "New Wine in Old Bottles" and "Wild Nights."
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the Nazareth Center for the Arts online box office.
