So Fun! Frozen Yogurt to Open First Location in Lower Nazareth on May 5
A brand new frozen yogurt chain promises a "twisted-licious treat."
A mere nine days after the grand opening of , another business is preparing to open its doors in the Lower Nazareth Commons plaza: So Fun! Frozen Yogurt.
On May 5, So Fun! Frozen Yogurt, a brand new chain, will open its very first location in Lower Nazareth Township.
The popularity of frozen yogurt has increased in recent years, evident by the multitude of chains that have tried to piggyback on Pinkberry’s success. But So Fun! has a slightly different approach to yogurt, according to company president Richard Oelbaum.

For starters, all of the yogurt flavors will be low-calorie, low-fat or nonfat. There will be gluten-free, dairy-free, low-carb and sugarless options as well, making So Fun! not only nutritious, but touted as a delicious option for lactose-intolerance.
“It’s the kind of thing you could eat four or five times a week and not worry about,” Oelbaum said. “We carry the National Yogurt Association stamp… it’s just as good for you as Activia or Dannon [or] any of the [other] great yogurts you’d buy from the store.”

But that’s not all that sets So Fun! apart. At this new yogurt shop, customers pay by weight, not by size or flavor.
Oelbaum outlined the process for future So Fun! patrons:
- When you enter the shop, you'll be welcomed by a staff member who will explain the So Fun! process to new guests.
- Step 1 -- choose a size.
- Step 2 -- choose a flavor, or a mix of flavors. Each day, 16 different flavors will be available.
- Step 3 -- choose from 36 different toppings, including fresh fruit and candies.
- Step 4 -- at check-out, pay by weight, not by flavors or toppings.
According to So Fun! Yogurt’s website, the shop will offer in excess of 60 total flavors, which will be rotated to accommodate the 16 flavors per day.
“We intend to have people let us know what flavors they like the most,” Oelbaum explained. “We’ll rotate based on preferences.”
Oelbaum went on to say that there will always be at least one sugarless option and at least one dairy-free option every day.
So Fun! Frozen Yogurt will hold its soft opening on Thursday, May 5, and its grand opening on Thursday, May 19, which will also be Free Yogurt Day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cup Dude, the So Fun! Frozen Yogurt mascot and spokesperson, will also be on hand for photo ops.
