Stay Out Of Syria

You might remember, a number of years ago, when two planes flew into the towers
in NY. It was a terrible time. We heard that some guy named Osama bin Laden was the master mind of this tragedy. Supposedly he was living in Afghanistan or Pakistan but for some reason we went to war with Iraq.

Promising that we would find weapons of mass destruction we engaged the Iraq military forces and spent years in that country. As to the weapons of mass destruction, well they're still there. We assisted Iraq with the creation of an election process and with that we left and the elements of war in Iraq went back to war after our withdrawal.

Now our iillustrious president is hell bent to send a US Military Strike against Syria supposedly because the Syrian government killed lots of people, particularly children with chemical weapons. Maybe. Maybe we will also stirke Syria according to our Secretary of State and our President. What we truly need to do is stay out of Syria.

This is not our problem. Many, including American Syrians, pointed that out in today's Express-Times. More importanlty we cannot get a decent comment from our President. On Friday Secretary of State Kerry left us with the impression that we were going to strike Syria. When Obama spoke at his meeting he went back and forth on his intentions. On top of that he failed to get assistance from England, our top ally, and he received less than pleasant warnings from Russia.

We need to stay out of Syria and the rest of the Middle East. When will we learn.
Here we are looking at another nation, Syria, and telling them that we are going to launch a small attack. Well, Mr. Presidnet how will you explain the death of Syrian children with an attack by American Armed Forces?
