According to several websites, Salevsky is a graduate of DeSales University and formerly taught at Holy Family School, also in Nazareth, and Allen High School in Allentown. He also has performed with the Civic Theatre of Allentown.

Last Friday, charges were filed against Salevsky for allegedly sexually assaulting the boy over a two-year period.

The charges have sparked outrage from a school director and a letter from a principal promising parents that measures are being taken to ensure their children's safety.
