1. "Touch a Truck" -- Tickets on Sale Now

Where/When: Why Go: You can now purchase tickets for the "Touch a Truck" event scheduled for Oct. 1 at . During the event, there will be all types of cars and trucks to sit, stand or climb on -- what child wouldn't love this opportunity!?
Price: $5 per ticket

2. Martin On Main

Where/When: Center Square, Main Street and Belvidere Street; Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.
Why Go: This event is so full of things to do and see that we're just going to send you right over to the on Nazareth Patch for all of the can't-miss details. You can also visit www.martinonmain.org. There will be a Patch table -- make sure to stop over and say "hi"!

3. Open House at Movement Theater

Where/When: ; Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
Why Go: While Martin on Main is happening right in front of Movement Theater at 112 S. Main St., stop in for kid-friendly face painting, tattoos, games, giveaways and crafts.
Price: $2 per child

4. Kids in the Kitchen

Where/When: ; Saturday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Why Go: Your child will have fun with hands-on kitchen activities while also learning proper food handling skills... and fun food facts! The theme for this workshop is “Fruits and Veggies Take a Dip” -- yum!
Price: $5 with a Wegmans Shoppers Club card. All children must be pre-registered with customer service before heading to the kitchen.

5. “Build It Yourself” Workshop

Where/When: ; Saturday, 9 a.m to noon
Why Go: Your child will have a ton of fun building their own project and learning tool safety. This month’s back-to-school project is a pencil box. The workshop is open to children ages 5 to 12.
