Heath Hitchcock to Perform at the Nazareth Center for the Arts

Heath Hitchcock returns to the Nazareth Center for the Arts for a Sunday matinee performance.

Heath Hitchcock will return to the for a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee performance. Hitchcock will entertain with traditional classical music that is heavily influenced by Spanish guitar-playing and composers from South America.

In a telephone interview with Patch, Hitchcock said his style is similar to that of Andres Segovia.

Hitchcock gained much of his performing experience while attending the The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. While studying under the likes of Julian Gray and Manuel Barrueco, Hitchcock found his style and has been performing and teaching ever since. He teaches privately throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Hitchcock has released a solo album, “Five Centuries of the Guitar."

Admission to the performance is free.
