This Weekend at the Nazareth Center for the Arts
Maggie Spike and Megan Lee will perform Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.; tickets are $10.

The duo that is Maggie Spike -- a husband and wife team -- will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday at the .
Maggie and Eric Gernerd are singer-songwriters -- and Berks County natives -- who have a musical style that crosses many genres, including folk rock, jazz, acoustic pop, Celtic, psychedelic, reggae, Americana and world rhythm.
“Their music takes you to a place where melody, rhythm, harmony and insightful lyrics create a sound that is easily accessible and highly entertaining,” according to www.maggiespike.com.

Maggie Spike has released two albums -- “Passenger Station" in 2005 and “Sol Paradise” in 2009.

Sharing the stage with Maggie Spike this weekend will be Megan Lee, a self-taught acoustic guitar player who calls Bethlehem home.
Lee performs a mix of coffeehouse music and is inspired by the likes of Shawn Colvin and Dar Williams.
Lee has been picking up gigs around the Lehigh Valley for the last two years, and enjoys the Nazareth Center for the Arts because she can connect with her audience.
“It is one of my favorite venues," Lee said. "It's quiet and intimate, and you can talk with your audience. It’s a great place.”
In what she calls her "surprising adventure," Lee hopes to continue performing and enjoying her singing career.
