• Man arrested in connection with vehicle thefts in New Cumberland (newportdispatch.com) — A 22-year-old man was arrested by New Cumberland Borough Police in the 300 block of Fifth Street, accused of entering 15 to 20 vehicles around town in late June. Police say wallets, cash, IDs, backpacks and a handgun were taken, with the firearm later recovered. The suspect faces multiple theft, firearms, and loitering-related charges.
   

• Pink, mold-like residue in ice chute: York County restaurant inspections, Aug. 24, 2026 (lancasteronline.com) — York County's latest restaurant inspections include El Rancho Restaurante and Pupuseria on Sheraton Drive in New Cumberland, which passed but was cited for labeling, cleaning, and equipment issues that were addressed on site.
