NEW HOPE, PA — Giovanni's Dillicious Pickles - a self-described "Pickle Paradise" - has officially opened its doors in town.
Located at 1270 South Main Street, the business features the company’s popular jarred products with "over 60 different pickle flavors." The store also boasts a full tasting bar and is serving its famous pickle sandwiches.
"You can come in, sample, explore, and find your favorites before you buy,” said the Truitt family, who own and operate the business.
On Sunday, the owners reported on Facebook that the store came close to selling out of jars.
“New Hope has embraced us in a way we never could have imagined. The locals, the visitors, the business owners, the community - every single one of you - has made us feel welcome. We are beyond grateful to call New Hope home.
The Truitt’s said the new shop is part of a broader effort to grow the brand while keeping its local roots.
"We are so excited to bring something fun, unique, and completely pickle-obsessed to a town that thrives on experience,” they said.

The idea for the business was born - believe it or not - from a craving for pickle sandwiches by a pregnant family member.
When Gabby Truitt was pregnant, she had a serious craving for pickles, opting to replace bread with pickles when she made sandwiches. That inspired her brother to launch a food truck in 2021 devoted to pickles, which he named after his son, Giovanni.
The company is owned and operated by Tom, Gabby, Dominic, Ava, Scarlett, Everly, and Ariana Truitt who describe the business "as a family venture rooted in love, tradition, and the art of pickling."
