NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope-Solebury School District will cut the ribbon on a new Lion sculpture on Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. outside the district offices at 180 W. Bridge Street in New Hope.

The event will mark the public debut of a new piece of art created through a partnership with New Hope Arts and the NHS Education Fund and a collaboration between the district's art department and sculptor Mike Gyampo.

The district describes the project as a one-of-a-kind sculpture that brings together student creativity, staff talent, and Gyampo's artistry in a single community piece.

The district said the sculpture is about more than just art. "This sculpture represents the power of collaboration, the creativity of our students, and the Lion pride that brings our community together," the district said.

The ceremony is open to the public. "All community members are invited. Come see this special addition up close and help us celebrate a lasting symbol of our Lion spirit."
