BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The two Democratic candidates vying for their party's nomination for Congress in Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District will meet the voters on Monday during a candidate forum in Bucks County.
The forum, organized by the League of Women Voters of Bucks County, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Middletown Township Building at 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne 19047. The event will also be live-streamed on the League of Women Voters Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on its YouTube channel.
Voters will hear from Bob Harvie and Lucia Simonelli at the forum, which originally had been scheduled in Doylestown. A trained moderator, who resides outside the 1st Congressional District, will moderate the forum.
The deadline to register to vote in the Tuesday, May 19, primary election is Monday, May 4. Register to vote by visiting register.votespa.com. Voters registered as Democrats or Republicans can vote in the primary election. Learn more about all the candidates in the primary election: Vote411.org.
