NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The new Lucatelli's Pizzeria will be closed on Monday, May 4, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
The one-day closure will allow management to "fine-tune our workflow behind the scenes."
The posting added, "Thank you for the immense amount of love and support. We truly mean it when we say good people eat good pizza."
Demand has been high at the new pizzeria, which opened a little more than a week ago at the Village at Newtown South near Wendy's. On several nights, the store has run out of pizza dough, which is made with imported flour from Italy.
The Doylestown location will be open regular hours on Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 pm.
