Legion Baseball Steps To The Plate In Newtown For Veterans, First Responders Game

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown American Legion Patriots will step to the plate Wednesday evening, June 17, for its annual Veterans and First Responders Game.

The game is scheduled to start at 5:45 p.m. at Pickering Field in Newtown with the recognition of the community's veterans and first responders.

“The public is invited to come out and enjoy a night of American Legion Baseball and to thank our veterans and first responders," game organizers said.

Food and summer treats will be sold at the game by Skips Food Truck, the Kono Pizza Food Truck, and Newtown Water Ice (at the snack shack).
