"By some miracle, the driver and the passenger were not seriously hurt in the crash," said Upper Makefield Police.

Rescue 71, Engine 81 and Deputy Chief 71 from the Upper Makefield Fire Company responded to the scene. Newtown Ambulance was also dispatched.

The vehicle was towed up the embankment and back onto the road by Rob's Towing.

"It is summer so we will be seeing an increase in vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle, and motorcycle traffic," police said. "So, please pay attention to the road, stay off your phone, and enjoy the wonderful scenery outside your window."
