Steve Nolan, Retired Army Officer and Author, to Talk About Malignant Narcissism in USA

As the nation prepares to celebrate the 250 anniversary of our nation, The Peace Center and the
Tikkun Olam (Social Action) Committee of Congregation Kol Emet will host a series of three talks
concerning the White Supremacist movement, Christian Nationalism, and the loose cabal of
political allies that have allowed the resurgence of Fascism Ideology in America.

Presented by Steve Nolan, career military officer and Chief of mental health for three military
installations, two military prisons and Chief of Combat Stress for Paktika Province, Afghanistan, in
a career that spanned 30years.

He will explain malignant narcissism —the essential ingredient toMaligent Narci Fascist leadership, and how it
was able to take root in the land of the free — the individual psychological factors and mass
psychological factors, that have allowed the resurgence of ideas that The Greatest Generation
thought they had thrown on the scrap heap of history.

Steve is the author of “American Carnage, An Officer’s Duty to Warn,” a clinical assessment of
our current Commander in Chief and his mental unfitness for command. He also authored three
books of poetry, “Go Deep,” “Base Camp,” and “A Palace of Ruins.” His work was featured on
National Public Radio upon his return from Afghanistan.

This program will be offered in 3 parts: Wednesdays, July 8, July 15 and July 22 at 6:30 to 8:00
PM both in person at Congregation Kol Emet (1360 Oxford Valley Rd, Yardley) and also online.
