Pedestrians Injured In Newtown Township Hit-And-Run

During an investigation, police were able to identify the driver and subsequently charged him with the incident.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A driver is in custody following a hit-and-run involving pedestrians last Friday.

At 5:03 p.m. on August 21, police were called to the area of Richboro Road and West Hanover Street for a hit-and-run accident.

Upon arrival, police learned that two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle, which then left the scene. Both pedestrians were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was later identified and charged.
