NEWTOWN, PA — Attorney Joseph Sternberg, Esquire, this week announced the opening of two Pennsylvania-based law offices in Newtown and in Lower Gwynedd.
Sternberg said the new firm will deliver practical, commercially grounded legal counsel to businesses, property owners, investors, landlords, tenants and entrepreneurs.
The firm's core strength is real estate, commercial, business and transactional law, including commercial leasing, letters of intent, acquisitions and dispositions, entity and contract matters, deal structuring, land-use and zoning issues, and use-and-occupancy matters.
Sternberg said the firm intends to serve clients across a broad range of legal needs directly and, when appropriate, through relationships with collaborating counsel, subject to conflict checks and the client's freedom to select counsel.
"I have spent my career at the intersection of law, business ownership and commercial real estate," said Sternberg, the firm's principal. "The firm is designed to give clients clear, responsive advice informed not only by legal principles, but also by how transactions, operating businesses and real
estate decisions work in practice."
Sternberg is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is also a licensed real estate salesperson. Separately from his law practice, he serves as director of commercial real estate for OERE Commercial Real Estate and as general counsel for Opus Elite Real Estate and OERE Commercial Real Estate. Those roles are separate from the new law firm.
Sternberg brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate transaction experience. His public professional profile notes responsibility for marketing, leasing or sales involving more than 2.5 million square feet of office, retail and warehouse property; sales exceeding $10 million; and negotiated commercial lease transactions valued above $5 million while at Vineland Construction Company.
His background also includes service as a senior sales associate with NAI Mertz, vice president and general counsel of Moyco Technologies, Inc., and an associate attorney with Lipman, Frieberg, Comroe & Hing, formerly Robinson, Greenberg & Lipman.
Sternberg has owned and operated manufacturing businesses, including a dental-supply company that his public profile states grew from approximately $4 million to $20 million in revenue before its sale in 2001. He earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law (now Delaware Law School) and attended Syracuse University.
Tammy Truong will serve as business operations manager, supporting the firm's administration, client service and launch operations.
