WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — A big weekend of events is on tap in Wrightstown Township.
The fun begins on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Harvest Festival at the Grange Fairgrounds (Building 2) at 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown 18940.
"Come in costume if you want and bring a nonperishable item for the Wrightstown Food Pantry," said Recreation Board leaders.
There will be free activities for the whole family, including hayrides, food, entertainment and a hay slide.
The fun continues on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. with the final open house of the season at the Historic Octagonal Schoolhouse located at 2091 Second Street Pike.
The theme will be "Tunes of the Times," which will feature 19th century children's, patriotic and popular music and hymns contemporary to the 1802 Octagonal School.
