BCCC Foundation Recognizes Its "Shining Stars" With Awards
Each year, the college says thank you to its contributors in the areas of volunteerism, education, partnerships and community.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Community College Foundation (BCCCF) recognized its shining stars during its annual Foundation Awards Breakfast.
Each year during the ceremonial morning banquet held in the Gallagher Room at the Newtown Campus, the foundation celebrates and recognizes individuals and groups who exemplify selflessness in the categories of volunteerism, education, partnerships and community.
During the seated breakfast, faculty, local politicians, business members, students, college staff and supporters celebrate the winners. The following winners were recognized and received the 2023 Foundation Awards:

- Karen Dawkins, Volunteer Award
- Dr. Patricia Smallcombe, Education Award
- Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, Community Award
- Estée Lauder Companies, Partnership Award
- Alina Sierra Diaz, B.U.C.K.S. AWARD
“The Foundation Awards give us a wonderful opportunity to honor the people and organizations that have helped our foundation make Bucks County Community College a great place to learn and grow. We are grateful for all they have done and continue to do," said Executive Director Christina McGinley.
