Council Rock Announces Cancellation Of 'Marching At The Rock'
A forecast for wind and rain over the weekend have forced organizers to cancel the weekend band competition.

NEWTOWN, PA — Organizers have announced the cancellation of “Marching at the Rock,” which was scheduled to bring more than 500 student musicians to Walt Snyder Stadium in Newtown on Saturday evening, September 23.
The event, hosted by the Council Rock North Marching Band, will not be rescheduled, according to an email from the Council Rock High School North Marching Band.

between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.
Saturday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low of around 57. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday: Rain likely, mainly before 9 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain before 9 p.m., then a chance of showers after 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
