Dine On State Street During Newtown Theater Event
Guests will dress in black and white and dine along State Street. The evening will be followed by a screening of "It Happened One Night."
The non-profit Newtown Theatre is planning its first-ever Black & White Dinner on Saturday, September 24. The fundraiser will take place on the street outside the historic theatre from 6:30 and 10 p.m.
Guests will be asked to dress only in black and white and bring everything they need for an elegant dinner under the stars, including a picnic dinner, tables, chairs, and black and white décor.
Upon arrival, guests will line up their tables and chairs down the middle of North State Street and join others for dinner, live music, and other entertainment.

Prizes will be awarded for best dressed man, best dressed woman, and best decorated table. After dinner, there will be a screening of Frank Capra’s 1934 classic “It Happened One Night” starring Clark Gable.
Tickets are $75 per couple. All proceeds support the non-profit movie theatre. This is a rain or shine event.
