Enchanting Seasonal Celebrations Coming To Hortulus Farm In Bucks
The Wrightstown Township farm has announced a series of special weekend events and markets between now and December.

WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Hortulus Farm will celebrate the changing seasons with a variety of activities, artisanal shopping and family-friendly fun events from wildflower weekends to a European Christmas Market.
"The Hortulus team is overflowing with anticipation and gratitude as we invite our community to join us in these beautiful celebrations of nature and togetherness," announced Jon Kontz, executive director of Hortulus. "The overwhelming support and joy we received from our community during the spring and summer events has truly touched our hearts and inspired us to take our offerings to new heights for the second half of 2023."
Each event, he said, will be a "testament to our passion for horticulture and community-centered hospitality. We are thrilled to create these enchanting experiences for families and individuals alike, making Hortulus Farm a cherished destination for all to enjoy."

Wildflower Festival Weekends
Hortulus will bid farewell to the summer season with Wildflower Festival Weekends on September 9, 16 and 23. The farm's wildflower field will be a floral wonderland, welcoming visitors to stroll through and cut their very own bouquets, hand-tied by Hortulus.

Visitors are invited to capture stunning photos in the field or purchase freshly made flower crowns and bouquets for a whimsical touch. There will be live music, floral-themed cocktails, and tantalizing treats from food trucks.
The festival will also feature flower-themed children's crafts, a petting farm, garden shop delights, and a range of yard games to revel in the beauty of the wildflower season.
"We want every guest to feel a profound connection with nature as they roam through our blooming wildflower field," expresses Ariel Kontz, executive director of Hortulus. "The joy and laughter shared during these weekends are an inspiration for us to continue nurturing this land for generations to come."

Handmade Market
As the autumn season settles in, Hortulus Farm shifts is focus to a Handmade Market on September 30 with a rain date of October 1. Visitors will experience an array of exceptional craftsmanship as more than 30 local artisans showcase their unique creations, from stunning artworks to handmade home goods and decor.
"Our Handmade Market is a labor of love, carefully curated to inspire wonder and appreciation for the immense talent within our community," shares Jon Kontz. "Supporting local artisans is at the core of Hortulus Farm's mission, and we love to showcase their incredible creations to all our visitors."
Harvest Weekends
The month of October brings a Harvest Festival to Hortulus where guests will experience the quintessential autumn season every weekend. There will be pumpkin picking to live music, food vendors, fall-themed treats, and a host of children's activities.
“As for our Festival weekends,” Jon adds, “we’re excited for guests to embrace the quintessential elevated Bucks County experience, where we've infused wholesome and seasonal family fun into every moment.”

European Christmas Market Weekends
The enchantment continues in late November and December with the European Christmas Market Weekends on November 25th, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th. Step into a festive wonderland filled with holiday cheer.
The garden shop will be transformed into a magical holiday shopping experience, featuring a curated collection of local artisans offering perfect gifts for the season. Shoppers can select and purchase a Christmas tree, capture cherished memories with photos with Santa, delight in live jazz music, and embrace the spirit of the season with a live nativity. Children's activities and seasonal treats will complete the joyful ambiance, making it the perfect destination for a heartwarming Christmas celebration.
"For us, Christmas is a time of pure magic and warmth," Ariel Kontz adds with a smile. "We want every visitor to experience the enchantment of the season as they explore the European Christmas Market, creating unforgettable memories with loved ones amidst the twinkling lights and festive atmosphere."
All events will take place at Hortulus Farm, located at 60 Thompson Mill Road, Wrightstown 18940. The festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with the garden shop open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout September to December.
