Fire Destroys Detached Garage In Upper Makefield Township

Firefighters from numerous companies responded to the call Thursday afternoon at Thompson Mill and Pineville roads.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Fire destroyed a garage Thursday afternoon in Upper Makefield Township.

At 1:13 p.m., firefighters responded to the report of a building fire in the area of Thompson Mill and Pineville roads. When crews arrived they found a fully involved garage fire.

The firefighters were on the scene for about three hours extinguishing the blaze and then conducting mop up operations.

Responding to the scene were Upper Makefield, Lingohocken, Newtown Fire and Rescue, Northampton and Midway Volunteer Fire Company. Southampton and Warwick served as cover stations.

Central Bucks Ambulance also responded to the scene.
