Free Antique Appraisal Event to Be Held at The Birches

Do you have treasures hiding in your attic that you think may be worth something? It’s time to find out.

The Birches at Newtown Personal Care and Memory Care is holding an Antique Appraisal event on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Expert appraisers will be at The Birches to assess items.

Appraisers include: Dan Worden, president of the Pennsylvania Antiques Appraisers Association; Ashley King, known as the “Clock Trader” in the United States and Europe; and Bill D’Anjolell, a Newtown native with expertise in artwork and all types of collectibles.

“These experts can appraise anything except jewelry (watches are OK). Items can include ceramics, glass, precious metals, clocks, music boxes, toys, books, postcards and more,” The Birches said in an event announcement.

Appraisals are free; there is a limit of two appraisals per person.
