Halloween Candy Drive To Benefit Bucks Co. Soldiers Serving Overseas
Kim Rock Group partners with Newtown Brewing Company for post-Halloween candy collection.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Kim Rock Group at Keller Williams Langhorne is partnering with Newtown Brewing for a post-Halloween candy collection to benefit a Bucks County airman and his unit stationed overseas.
Between Nov. 1 and 8, residents are invited to drop off their leftover Halloween candy at the Newtown Brewing Company at 103 Penns Trail, Newtown. Donors will receive $1 off a pint of beer as a thank-you for the donation.
"The idea is to encourage kids to donate their excess candy or for homes that have leftover candy from trick or treating to donate it to the unit," said Liz Howell, an agent with The Kim Rock Group.

The candy will be sent overseas directly to a Bucks County airman and his unit stationed in an unstable and volatile area of the world.
"As a military spouse myself, I know how something as small as a favorite candy bar can brighten a soldier’s day during some tough times. It’s a little reminder of home and a small blip of
normalcy," said Howell.
