Newtown Arts Company Holding Auditions For 'My Fair Lady'
Auditions will take place Tuesday, March 1 and Saturday, March 5 at United Methodist Church in Newtown.
Newtown Arts Company is holding auditions for its upcoming performance of “My Fair Lady.”
Auditions will take place Tuesday, March 1, from 7 to 10 p.m.; and Saturday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m., at United Methodist Church, 33 Liberty Street, Newtown.
Actors are expected to be available for rehearsals in the evenings and weekends, May 23 to June 22. Performances are June 23 to 29 (except June 27) at Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street, Newtown.

Here are the requirements, according to the Newtown Arts Company:
All actors are asked to attend the start of their audition time slot to learn a dance combination for further dancing in groups. Each actor will be expected to sing. Please bring sheet music and sing 16 bars each of 2 songs, a ballad and an uptempo. One of the songs should be from MY FAIR LADY. Please bring a headshot, be prepared to dance, and, if you are interested in a speaking role, be prepared to speak in a lower-class and upper-class British accent. If a reading is requested you will then be asked to read from sides and Actors will be released either after dancing or after they read. Please note that all actors participate as volunteers.
