Newtown Car Show Is Sunday

The Newtown Antique & Classic Auto Show is this Sunday, July 10.

The annual show, hosted by the Newtown Business Association, will be held from 10 am to 3 pm on State Street.

The event will feature more than 150 antique and classic cars and trucks in all makes and models from 1900 to 1991.

"This festive event is attended by thousands of spectators, with trophies being awarded in special marque categories and 12 additional classes, appearances by Council Rock North’s Sock ‘n Buskin theatre group dressed in costume, and a raffle for prizes for car show participants," event organizers said in an announcement.

The event rain date is July 17. The current forecast for Sunday is mostly sunny, with a high near 86.

Early registration has passed but same-day registration is $25, provided there is still space.
