Newtown Students Mentored By Disney Channel Stars

Stars of the Disney Channel’s show “Girl Meets World” will mentor aspiring young Newtown actors and actresses at an upcoming training event.

Peyton Meyer, who plays Lucas Friar on the show, will help teach an acting class at the upcoming Broadway Break Thru Summer Intensive class in Newtown.

Participants in the class will also receive a signed picture and autograph.

The event will include auditions for Broadway’s “Matilda” and “Billy Elliot.”

Students have the opportunity to perform in Disney’s Frozen, Disney’s High School Musical, Broadway’s Motown and Rock of Ages
