Newtown Theatre Launches Classic Movie Series

The Newtown Theatre has announced it is launching a new Classic Movie Series at the end of this month.

According to an announcement from the theater, movies will be shown on the last Thursday of each month and will be selected through public voting on the theater's Facebook page.

A single-elimination tournament will be held monthly and will start with eight of the top movies of all time. The public will vote each day on which movie should advance. The final film left standing will be shown on March 31 at 7 p.m.

The tournament will take place each month.

The series sponsored by Harris Comfort, a Bucks County business specializing in heating, air conditioning, fuel oil, propane and whole-house generators.
