NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA - A limited number of tickets are still available for this year’s “Oktoberfest - The Best of Times, The Wurst of Times” - to be held Sept. 16 in Newtown Borough.

The fundraiser begins at 5 p.m. at 101 Liberty Street, Newtown 18940, and will benefit A Love for Life, a nonprofit dedicated to funding pancreatic cancer research at Penn and improving outcomes for those who are currently facing the challenge. Every dollar donated will help improve the odds for cancer patients.

“Bier, Brats and Kraut! Food and friends is what it's all about,” said A Love For Life Founder, Christine Edmonds. “Lederhosen and dirndls and checked shirts are encouraged, but definitely not required.”
