Pickering Manor Car Raffle Celebrates A Decade Of Winning

The winner of this year's fundraiser will drive home in one of four brand new vehicles or pocket a $25,000 cash prize.

NEWTOWN, PA — There's still time to purchase a raffle ticket to win one of five brand new cars or a $25,000 cash prize in Pickering Manor's 10th Annual Car Raffle.

Each $100 entry increases the odds of winning one of four vehicles from the Peruzzi Auto Group - your choice of a 2023 Buick Encore GX, a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport ES, a 2023 Nissan Rogue Sport S and a 2023 Mazda CX-30 2.5S.

The winner also has the option of walking home with $25,000 in cash.

Only 800 tickets will be sold. Second prize is a $1,000 VISA gift card.

The winning name will be drawn during a drawing and cocktail party on Friday, April 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by the drawing at 6:30 p.m. at Pickering Manor, 226 North Lincoln Avenue, Newtown 18940.

Any remaining tickets will be sold at the cocktail reception prior to the drawing.

The raffle is sponsored by The First National Bank of Newtown. The car is provided by the Peruzzi Auto Group.

Proceeds will benefit Pickering Manor, a 5-star community-owned and operated life plan community serving Bucks County since opening in 1963, formed by the generosity of Henry Russell Pickering.

In 2020, Pickering Manor opened its largest expansion to date, a 26,000-square-foot facility which accommodates 15 new short-term residents, a state-of-the-art rehab unit, 15 personal care private rooms, and a renovated 32-bed skilled unit.
