Star Watch To Explore The Heavens At BCCC Campus In Newtown
The watch is taking place in conjunction with the current art exhibition, "Astronomical: Gazing Inward & Beyond, Exhibitions Associate."

NEWTOWN, PA — The Hicks Art Center Gallery is collaborating with the Bucks-Mont Astronomy
Association (BMAA) to present a free and open-to-the-public Star Watch event on August 22 from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College (BCCC).
In conjunction with the current Hicks Art Center Gallery exhibition, "Astronomical:
Gazing Inward & Beyond, Exhibitions Associate," Clifford Eberly will lead a walk-through tour in the gallery at 6 p.m. with participating artists Katelyn B. Knight, Christine McHugh, Andrea Wallace, and faculty Caren Friedman. Following the tour, attendees are invited to purchase delicious, authentic Thai food and beverages from the Thai Cha Chak Food Truck outside Hicks Art Center.
At dusk, BMAA club members will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions. Guests are encouraged to bring binoculars or their own telescopes if they have them. For comfortable seating, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs in addition to their curiosity and taste buds.
