Youth Art Show in Newtown Through July 5

Art students from Newtown enjoyed a moment to shine and a terrific turnout at the opening reception of their first gallery exhibit currently on display at Countryside Gallery located at 2 South State Street in Newtown.  The art show titled “Discovering America’s Treasures Through Art” features paintings of our nations parks by 14 Newtown artists age 8-17.  Originally intended to be a one day show, the exhibit was so well received that the new gallery owners, Michael Hammer and Richard Fekete, have extended the show through July 5th. The students’ artwork is on display right alongside the artwork of many professional artists from Bucks County, and the aspiring young artists should be very proud.  For gallery hours and info visit www.countrysideframes.com   Admission is free.
