1 Teen Dead, 3 Injured After Police Chase On Route 422
Authorities said the vehicle was stolen, according to reports.
UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A teenager was killed and three more were injured after fleeing from police in a highway chase in Montgomery County over the weekend, authorities said.
The incident began in the early morning hours Saturday, Feb. 14 on Route 422.
A Kia was traveling eastbound in Limerick Township when state police attempted to pull the vehicle over for traffic violations, NBC 10 Philadelphia reported.

6ABC reports the driver refused to pull over, sparking the chase.
The pursuit continued down 422 into Upper Merion Township, where the vehicle crashed into a concrete road barrier, officials said.

The driver, an 18-year-old male, was killed. The three other passengers, who have only been identified as males, were injured.
NBC adds that the vehicle is believed to be stolen.
