$150K Lottery Jackpot Sold At Montco Grocery Store

One lucky shopper came away with a big payday in Montgomery County this week.

HATFIELD, PA — A lucky grocery store customer in Hatfield won a Pennsylvania Lottery jackpot on Wednesday.

The winning ticket, worth $150,000, matched all five balls drawn Wednesday night: 16-27-59-62-63, along with the red Powerball 23.

It was sold at the ShopRite on 170 Forty Food Road, which will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket included a "Power Play" option, which cost the lucky winner $1. That tripled their winnings from $50,000 to $150,000.

More than 66,000 Powerball tickets won prizes in the drawing, the lottery said.

The Powerball jackpot itself rolled to $725 million. The next drawing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23.
