2 Arrested On Prostitution Charges At King Of Prussia Motel 6

The man fled and was later captured after a wide search in the bathroom at the King of Prussia mall.

UPPER MERION, PA — A man and a woman were arrested after police busted prostitution activity at a King of Prussia hotel earlier this month.

The incident occurred after authorities received a tip back on Sept. 7.

The Upper Merion Special Investigations Unit staked out the Motel 6 on 815 W. DeKalb Pike and spotted a woman being dropped off in the parking lot, they said.

Detectives asked what she was doing and she admitted she was there to meet a man for sex, police said. They then found her in possession of a crack cocaine pipe and crack cocaine.

Police then approached the driver than had dropped her off, but he fled on foot, authorities said.

The man ran across DeKalb Pike and North Gulph Road, and hid in the bathroom on the first floor of the King of Prussia Mall, according to police. He was captured after a wide search.

He was charged with promoting prostitution, fleeing police, and related counts.
