NORRISTOWN, PA — Two people are hospitalized after two separate shootings over the weekend in Norristown. Both occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 10.

The first incident took place near the corner of Spruce and Willow streets.

Police said they found two vehicles damaged by gunfire and numerous expended shell casings.

Shortly thereafter, police were called to another shooting on the 100 block of West Airy Street. One vehicle was damaged by gunfire at this location.

The two victims were located at area hospitals, undergoing treatment for injuries believed to be non life-threatening, police said. No further information on the victims was provided, and police did not specify at which location the victims were shot.

It remains unclear if the two incidents are connected.
