2 Stabbed Inside Upper Merion Home, 1 Arrested: Police
A man and a woman were stabbed inside a home in Upper Merion this week, officials said.
UPPER MERION, PA — A man and woman were stabbed inside a home in Upper Merion late Tuesday night, police said, and the suspect was taken into custody shortly afterwards.
The incident occurred on the 500 block of James Street at around 8:50 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear, but police said the suspect "was known" to the victims.

The man stabbed both victims multiple times before fleeing the home, according to officials.
He was arrested about 15 minutes later by police while walking near Walker Field.

Both victims were treated at local hospitals for their injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
The man, who was not identified by name by police, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and related counts. He was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility and a preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
