2 Women Steal Credit Cards In King Of Prussia, Flee Officers: PD

The women used the stolen credit cards for a $6,000 Louis Vuitton shopping spree before speeding away from police down 202, officials said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Two women stole credit cards from an elderly victim at the Hobby Lobby in King of Prussia and then used them to make thousands of dollars in purchases at Louis Vuitton and Target, authorities said.

Police are asking for the public's help in tracking the suspects down.

The incident occurred on Feb. 19 at around 3:10 p.m. at the Hobby Lobby on 320 W. Dekalb Pike.

The elderly woman said that one woman approached her and started engaging her in conversation while her purse sat in her shopping cart, police said. At some point during the conversation, another woman snuck behind her while she was distracted and took the credit cards from her purse, according to authorities.

The cards were used at the nearby Louis Vuitton for a $6,000 purchase, and then another purchase was attempted but declined at Target, police said.

Police intercepted the women at Target but they eluded authorities, fleeing away down Route 202 at a high speed.
