Griffin is a transplant from southern California and has lived in many different states due to her husband’s employment. A talented educator and researcher, Griffin has immersed herself in the history of Worcester for several years. Over her time with the Worcester Historical Society she has worked, on many different levels, to preserve Worcester’s history. She has led efforts to inventory and interpret Worcester’s Cemeteries. She also spent time over the years researching, inventorying and telling the stories of Worcester Townships one-room schools and the resources surrounding them. She is currently working with the Pennsylvania Historic and Museums Commission and the Heritage Conservancy on a Historic Structure Inventory of Worcester, inventorying over 350 sites, and structures. She also composed the content and continues to contribute to the Worcester Historical Society website.
