2023 Primary Election Results: Norristown School Board

NORRISTOWN, PA — Tuesday's primary will whittle down the Norristown Area School Board candidates up for election next fall.

The race has the same six, cross-filing candidates on both the Democratic and Republican ballots for four-year terms: Mao O'Howell, Monica D'Antonio, Ingrid Parker, Sharon Hale Mauch, Phil Daniels, and Lisa Licwincko-Engelman. Only five will advance to the general election in each party.

A total of six seats are up for grabs for a four-year term in November.

Meanwhile, just one candidate has cross-filed in both parties for the open two-year slot: Tessi Ruiz.

Norristown's board has long been Democrat-dominated, and it's likely the results of the coming election will be in line with that historical trend.
