29 Norristown Children In Need Get 'Early Christmas'

NORRISTOWN, PA - Thanks to the Norristown Police Department, twenty-nine less fortunate children recently celebrated an early Christmas.

Police were assisted by an outpouring of support from local businesses and families to contribute gifts to the drive.

“With tears of joy, smiles, and a lot of gifts, the children were able to have a memorable Christmas this year,” Norristown Muncipality said in a Facebook post.

The unique program identified seven families as beneficiaries of the donations.

The “7 days before Christmas” program let the police along with several other local organizations help families with gifts of “hope, caring, and encouragement.”
