Thousands Of Montgomery Co. Residents Were Without Power Tuesday
Severe winds brought down trees and electrical wires around Montgomery County, impacting thousands.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Severe winds brought down trees and power lines in Montgomery County Monday, knocking out power for thousands of residents in numerous communities around the area.
While many of the outages have been repaired, a total of 3,182 residents remained without power as of just before noon on Tuesday.
PECO issued a statement warning about the outages before the severe weather hit.

"Rain and strong winds, with gusts potentially reaching 45-50 mph, are expected across the PECO service territory. This forecasted severe weather may bring down trees and tree branches and cause damage to electric equipment and impact service to our customers."
