3 Arrested In 2 Separate Shootings In Norristown: Police
Three individuals are behind bars, including two teenagers, after a pair of shootings in Norristown recently.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Three people have been arrested in two separate shooting incidents that occurred in Norristown in recent weeks.
The first incident occurred back on Aug. 31, when a teenage girl was shot in the leg on the 300 block of Moore Street.
An investigation led authorities to two teenage boys, and they were taken into custody on Sept. 8.

The victim was treated at a nearby hospital and is recovering.
The second incident occurred on Sept. 6 at Corson and W. Marshall streets.

The victim, identified only as a man, was shot in the chest, police said. He ran into a nearby tavern to ask for help, and when authorities arrived on the scene, he refused to cooperate with law enforcement. However, an investigation ultimately led police to the suspect at a nearby home, and that man was arrested and charged within 24 hours of the shooting.
Details on the charges being faced by the three arrested individuals have not yet been released. Preliminary hearings in these cases are forthcoming.
