3 Hospitalized After Weekend Crash In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA — Three people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash in Norristown over the weekend.

The incident occurred at around 1 a.m. Sunday monring on Haws Avenue near W. Airy Street, police said.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which destroyed a gas main in front of a home.

One male victim was trapped inside his car and was flown to Penn Presbyterian with a head injury. Two more victims were hospitalized.

The cause of the crash is not clear, though the roads were slick at that time due to heavy rain on Saturday night.
