34-Year-Old Man Shot, Killed In Norristown On Election Day: DA
A homicide investigation is underway after the shooting in broad daylight in Norristown Tuesday.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in broad daylight in Norristown Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 3:36 p.m. on 500 block of West Marshall Street, police said.
The victim, 34-year-old Norristown resident Jerry White, was found by police on the scene. He was taken by ambulance to Suburban Hospital for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

The circumstances around the shooting remain unknown. It came in the middle of a mostly smooth Election Day in Norristown, which saw some long lines at the polls but few reported issues.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
