8,200 Without Power In Montgomery County

Powerful wind gusts knocked power out for thousands of residents in Montgomery County early Monday.

As of about 10:15 a.m., there were 8,218 outages, according to PECO. Restoration estimates ranged from a few hours to a few days.

Reported outages were at around 3,800 at 9 a.m. and up to 4,500 by about 9:30 a.m., before skyrocketing around then.
