One of the adults and both children were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and related injuries.

Battling the blaze was made even more difficult by the fire burning a large hole in the deck at the doorway into the home.

Fire was found in the walls, ceiling, and on the second floor of the structure.

The fire was extinguished and no firefighters were injured.
