MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Six high schools from around Montgomery County made Philly Mag's list of the "40 Best" in the region.

Jenkintown, Harriton, Lower Merion, Lower Moreland, Spring-Ford, and Upper Dublin all made the magazine's "40 Best Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs" list.

The ranking was created after analysis of public data from Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education, and the National Center for Education Statistics, according to the magazine. Factors taken into account when preparing the list include graduation rates, student to teacher ratio, and SAT scores.
