SOUTHEASTERN PA — The region's first true taste of wintry weather could be on the horizon this week, as a storm front heads toward southeastern Pennsylvania. It comes immediately on the tail of a warm front that saw springlike weather in the area with temperatures in the 60s.

While Monday has a forecasted high of 64 degrees, things will quickly shift as the day progresses, with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour bringing in a cold front.

There are two chances for precipitation over the next several days, with the first coming in the earlier evening hours Monday night. The National Weather Service gives a 40 percent chance of precipitation, and it's likely to be rain. Wind gusts could increase to 40 miles per hour.

The likelier chance of snow is on Wednesday, with a storm front expected to come through in the afternoon. Forecasters indicate a 50 percent likelihood of precipitation, with accumulation of less than an inch possible.
